Short Statement: There was a decrease of 20,000 respondents from the number of respondents reported at the last renewal of this collection. There are now an estimated 12,000 respondents registering for the Foreign Service Officer Test resulting in a corresponding decrease in burden hours. There has been a decline in the number of candidates registering for the FSOT.
