Educators will be trained in the administration of student baseline surveys. The following script information will be provided to educators who will be facilitating the administration of the student follow up surveys.

Read aloud prior to students completing the Student Feedback Form (Post-test)

Congratulations on completing a NASA educational activity! So that NASA can improve this program for all future participating students, all students who participate in the NASA Scientific Research Challenge Activity are being asked to complete a follow up survey at the conclusion of the Challenge. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers to any of the questions.  NASA wants your honest opinions and feedback and wants to thank you very much for your help!

Remember that your answers are confidential but if you don’t understand how a question is worded, I can read a question aloud for you. I can’t answer any questions though so try to figure out what a question is asking and if you can’t, you can skip it. The questions mostly focus on your personal interest in science, technology engineering, and math, but you can choose to skip any questions that you aren’t comfortable answering.

DO NOT READ ALOUD. REMINDER TO EDUCATOR/PROCTOR: If a student asks if they are required to take the survey, please tell them it is voluntary.
