This information is necessary for the
Attorney General and Improving Criminal Justice Response Program
grantees to comply with federal statutory reporting requirements.
The information will be used for a report to Congress on the
effectiveness of the activities supported by Improving Criminal
Justice Response Program funds. The purpose of this grant program
is to encourage States, Indian tribal governments, State and local
courts (including juvenile courts), tribal courts, units of local
government and victim services organizations to treat domestic
violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking as serious
violations of criminal law.
