Terms of Clearance: In accordance with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for three years. Abstract: The information collection allows the Office of Federal Acknowledgment (OFA), within the Office of the Assistant Secretary - Indian Affairs, to review petitions by Indian groups to determine whether the groups should be acknowledged as Indian tribes eligible for a government-to-government relationship with the U.S. Government.
