T ITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: Facilities and Emergency Services (FESD) Thermal Satisfaction Survey

PURPOSE: Facilities and Emergency Services Division (FESD) controls the heating and cooling at NASA Headquarters. This survey will be used to gauge feedback from employees at Headquarters regarding the temperature of the building. The feedback from the survey will be used to better enhance employees’ comfort with regard to the heating and cooling of the building.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS:

NASA Headquarters employees (civil servants and contractors) who work onsite at the Headquarters building.

The estimated annual cost to the Federal government is $4,828.50 at $30/user/hour for 3,219 [100% response rate] survey users [multiplied by the burden] 160.95 x $30 = $4,828.50.

Potential respondents will be Headquarters employees who work on-site (3,219 employees). We will administer the survey through a link that has been provided through Key Survey. We will email 100% of the 3,219 individuals who are regular employees at Headquarters in hopes of receiving a 35% to 40% response rate. Source of Headquarters employees: IdMAX – that’s the “source of record” for identity information at NASA.
