This collection describes the
information collection activities for ensuring imported papaya
fruit from Peru comply with the plant pest controls and
traceability requirements of 7 CFR 319.56 before arrival in the
United States.
In this renewal, the number of
respondents increased from 51 to 52, adding an importer. Two new
activities, NPPO inspections and recording of fly trap results on a
weekly basis for one year, added 2,600 responses and 1,300 hours of
burden. Adding new respondent types to existing activities added
100 responses and 50 hours of burden. Three additional new
activities added 3 responses and 3 hours of burden.
