The Employment and Training Administration is requiring employers of open range sheepherders and goatherders in the H-2A visa program to maintain records of when the foreign workers are on the open range and when they are working on the ranch or farm.
The estimated burden hours increased because the number of employers participating in the program increased. The previous burden was calculated in 2015 and reflected the lower rate of participation.
