Abstract: Rural Utilities Service (RUS) establishes standards and specifications of materials, equipment, and construction of rural electric systems. This collection of information is necessary allow review and determination that materials & equipment bought by electric borrowers or accepted as contractor-furnished material conform to RUS standards & specifications where established and if included in RUS IP 202-1 must be selected from the list or received technical acceptance.
