This regulation governs the Water and
Waste Disposal Guaranteed Loan program that provides loans to
public agencies, non-profit corporations and Indian Tribes for
development of water and waste disposal facilities primarily
serving rural residents. The information collected is utilized to
determine applicant/borrower eligibility, project feasibility, and
to ensure borrowers operate on a sound basis and use loan funds for
authorized purposes.

The increase of burden hours
from 618 in the previous collection to 2,728 burden hours for this
collection is due to a clarification for servicing requirements and
inclusion of all financial statements due rather than just
audited.
