Abstract: EIA’s Oil and Gas Reserves System (OGRS) surveys collect data used to estimate proved reserves of crude oil and natural gas, and to determine the status and approximate levels of production. Data are published by EIA and used by public and private analysts. Respondents are operators of oil wells, natural gas wells, and natural gas processing plants.

Short Statement: EIA-23S is being re-cleared as a separate IC instead of being a part of the EIA-23L IC submission. No burden was assigned to EIA-23S in the last clearance. The sample size for EIA-23L was reduced due to new design and resulted to a decrease in burden.
