The Census Bureau conducts the
Quarterly Summary of State and Local Government Tax Revenue using
the F-71 form (Quarterly Survey of Property Tax Collections), the
F-72 form (Quarterly Survey of State Tax Collections), and the F-73
form (Quarterly Survey of Non-Property Taxes). The Quarterly
Summary of State and Local Government Tax Revenue provides
quarterly estimates of state and local government tax revenue at
the national level, as well as detailed tax revenue data for
individual states.
The slight upward adjustment in
total annual burden is due to a refinement in the methodology we
use to make the calculation. The average burden per response has
not changed.
