Abstract: This is a set of surveys covering use of NOAA's ecological forecasting products for harmful algal bloom (HABs) in Lake Erie, the Gulf of Mexico, and Chesapeake Bay. Data will be collected from recreational anglers (Lake Erie and Gulf of Mexico only), recreational beach-goers/swimmers (all three areas), recreational boaters (Lake Erie only), and charter boat operators (Lake Erie only). NOAA will use these data to better understand how the public and other stakeholders use their HAB forecast products, the benefits derived from the products, and how those products would be improved.
