The Chief Evaluation Office (CEO) of
the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) will conduct a three-year
evaluation to develop strategies to support the evidence
requirements for the Reemployment Services and Eligibility
Assessment (RESEA) program that were enacted as part of the
Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Public Law 115-123; hereafter the
“BBA”). As part of the RESEA Implementation study, this submission
seeks clearance for three data collection activities: (1) key
informant interviews during site visits with approximately 10 state
workforce agencies and approximately 20 local workforce areas
(i.e., two local workforce areas within each state); (2) telephone
interviews with approximately 24 state workforce agencies; and (3)
a web-based survey of all states and territories operating RESEA
programs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
