When must information be submitted to the TSA?

Information must be submitted to TSA before an aircraft operator, air carrier, or indirect air carrier at least 30 before the intended effective date of an amendment.

How is the information submitted?

Certified Cargo Screening Program participants must submit the information to their designated official.

What happens when complete information is received?

Once the amendment is approved and implemented, TSA will determine compliance with the program requirements through routine onsite inspections, assessments, and tests.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is collecting this information from Certified Cargo Screening Program participant who intend to submit amendments to the security programs. TSA estimates that the average burden for this collection is 5 hours per year. This is a mandatory collection of information.
