There is an adjustment (increase) of 204 respondents, which caused an adjustment (increase) of 3,807 hours in the total burden hours. These adjustments are due to an increase in the number of successful applicants in the 2017 UB and UBMS grant competitions. There was also a program change (increase) of 133 total burden hours caused by four changes to the APR. 1) In these competitions, applicants could receive additional points for addressing a Competitive Preference Priority (CPP). A question was added to the existing collection to allow grantees to report on CPP outcomes. 2) UB and UBMS grantees that applied for and received a one-time supplemental STEM award based on the Secretary’s Supplemental Priorities will summarize their STEM activities. This is a one-year reporting requirement. 3) Grantees will report more readily useful target school data that will be helpful to prospective student applicants. 4) The Department established unique identifiers (case numbers) to replace SSNs.
