This information collection is used to
enforce the Horse Protection Act which was enacted to prevent the
showing, exhibiting, selling, or auctioning of "sore" horses, and
certain transportation of sore horses in connection therewith at
horse shows, horse exhibitions, horse sales, and horse
auctions.
Overall, there is a decrease of
1,221 respondents, 2,035 responses, and 222 total burden hours. See
question 15 of the supporting statement for additional
information.
