Regulation Supplement (DFARS) part 225, Foreign Acquisition, and
Defense Contractors Performing Private Security Functions Outside
the United States
In accordance with section 862 of the
National Defense Authorization Act of 2008 (Pub. L. 110-181)
contractors performing private security functions are required to
establish a process under which contractors are required to report
certain security incidents. These contractors must ensure that
their personnel performing private security functions comply,
reporting incidents in which a weapon is discharged, personnel are
attacked or killed, or property is destroyed, or active, lethal
countermeasures are employed.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
