The Department of Education (the Department) requests renewal without change of the information collection associated with the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program regulations.
The Department of Education (the Department) no longer offers amendments to the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program regulations to implement changes Subpart D – Administration of the Federal Family Education Loan Programs by a Guaranty Agency for §682.402 that add burden to the public. The final regulations are a result of negotiated rulemaking. Proposed changes to the regulations offered in the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in §682.402(d) have been removed from the final rule.
