Section 104(b) of the Consumer Product
Safety Improvement Act of 2008 requires the CPSC to promulgate
consumer product safety standards for durable infant or toddler
products. The Commission is issuing a safety standard for infant
sleep products, formerly known as the standard for inclined sleep
products which contains requirements that suppliers adhere to the
marking, labeling, and instructional literature requirements of the
bassinets and cribs standard.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
