The Agency is requesting an adjustment decrease of 1,256 burden hours from the previous submission (from 261,551 hours to 260,295 hours). This adjustment is due, primarily, to a slight decline in the number of emergency response organizations from 30,052 to 29,727, a decrease of 325 organizations. There also is a cost adjustment under Item 13 from $3,124,960 to $3,299,894 (an increase of 174,934). The slight increase was due to an increase in the costs of the medical exam from $160 to $169.
