Subject: Non-Substantial Change, AHHS II, Addition of PFOS and PFAS Analyses; OMB Control Number: 2539-0026

As discussed with Dr. Margo Schwab (OMB/OIRA), HUD, in collaboration with EPA, would like to add the analyses of additional chemical contaminants (abbreviated as PFAS and PFOA) in water and dust samples collected during the AHHS II survey. Field sampling was completed in June 2019, with 703 housing units sampled. All of the analyses will be performed by the EPA.

As indicated in the attached form OMB 83-C, there are no changes to the annual reporting and recordkeeping hour burden or the annual reporting and recordkeeping cost burden.

EPA submitted the document “Responses to Questions/Issues Discussed with Dr. Schwab on November 27, 2019”, which is also attached and submitted in ROCIS. It includes:

1. Analytical methods to be used

2. Plans for reporting data

3. Plans for EPA use of data
