This is a request for revision of a
previously approved collection. Respondents are 67 state and local
health departments with federal cooperative agreements for
tuberculosis control. Respondents submit two annual reports to CDC
with de-identified summary information concerning the follow-up and
treatment of contacts to tuberculosis cases, and targeted testing
and treatment for latent tuberculosis infection. The reports allow
CDC to estimate the epidemiological status of tuberculosis, monitor
the workload of tuberculosis prevention, and evaluate tuberculosis
control programs.
