Army Military Auxiliary Radio System
(MARS), provides contingency communications support to the Army and
Department of Defense. Membership in Army MARS is voluntary and
open to all FCC licenses amateur radio operators. In order to join,
an individual must submit an application to join. The applicant is
requested to provide basic information so their membership can be
tracked in the membership database for the purpose of headquarters
knowing who are members of MARS.
