Abstract: This survey will examine public perceptions of the use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) by first responders as part of their core mission. UAS are increasingly being adopted by law enforcement, fire services, emergency services and other first responders to better support their core mission. This study will assess public awareness and concerns about the use of UAS by first responders in order to develop communication guides to better inform the public.
