The Presidential Memorandum reinstated
the 2001 Presidential Memorandum on the “Mexico City Policy,” and
directed the Secretary of State, in coordination with the Secretary
of Health and Human Services, to implement a plan to extend the
requirements of the Mexico City Policy to “global health assistance
furnished by all departments or agencies” to the extent allowable
by law. The information is used to provide oversight of compliance
with the requirements of the clause and determination of
violations.
