This request encompasses development and testing of MCBS questionnaires, instrumentation, as well as methodological experiments. The MCBS (OMB No. 0938-0568) is an in-person, nationally-representative, longitudinal survey of Medicare beneficiaries.

The current burden for the generic clearance is 558 hours and the included MCBS COVID-19 Rapid Response Supplement will require a total of 2,737 hours which results in an increased burden.
