This request is for 180-day approval
of an emergency Information Collection Request for changes to
private industry sick leave policies in reaction to the coronavirus
pandemic.
NCS is adding questions
to cover changes in sick leave policy resulting from the
coronavirus pandemic. BLS cannot reasonably comply with the normal
clearance procedures under the PRA as an unanticipated event has
occurred and BLS has an urgent necessity to collect this
information from the American public to assess the damage to the
U.S. economy resulting from this pandemic.

This is a new collection to
collect information on changes to sick leave policy due to the
coronavirus pandemic. The questions will be collected during June
and July along with the regular NCS collection. The estimated
additional burden is 415 hours.
