Short Statement: The total respondent and Federal cost burdens have increased because of additional funding for the Lead Hazard Control programs and the addition of two new grant programs, Older Adult Home Modification Program, and Healthy Homes and Weatherization Cooperation Demonstration. The respondent and Federal cost burdens were decreased somewhat because of the elimination of certain application and review criteria (Rating Factors) for the Lead Hazard Control Grant Program and Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Grant Program applications; there is a cost-of-living-based increase in the hourly wages.
