No later than one year prior to resubmission to OMB, the agency will initiate discussions with OMB to: (1) consider developing a mechanism for online submissions, such as through Document Submission; (2) to review and improve the language used in the notice for clarity; (3) to revise the Supporting Statement to substantially increase discussion of how this information collection is used and under what conditions SSA determines it should send this information collection to respondents.

SSA uses Form SSA-ÂL8050-ÂU3 to collect information on whether an SSI recipient is using all sources of potential income (annuities, pensions, disability benefits, veteran's compensation, etc.) for their own support. SSI supplements other income an individual has available. SSA mails Form SSA-L8050-U3 to applicants or recipients when they apply for benefits. Respondents are SSI applicants or recipients who may be eligible for benefits from other public or private programs.
