Short Statement: The current approved total annual hour burden for preparing and filing registration statements on Form N-6 is 31,987 internal burden hours. We estimate that the new internal burden will be approximately 65,123 hours annually, reflecting an increase of 33,136 internal burden hours associated with amended Form N-6. The current approved estimate for the external annual cost burdens associated with preparing and filing initial and post-effective registration statements on Form N-6 is 3,816,692 annually. We estimate that the new internal burden will be $7,840,000, reflecting an increase of $4,023,308. The increase in the estimates regarding the total hour and external cost burdens associated with Form N-6 reflect the increase in estimated burdens associated with the amendments, adjustments to certain per filing estimates, and current estimates for the annual number of filings on Form N-6.
