Abstract:
The Multi-Family Housing programs provide adequate, affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary rental units for very low-, low-, and moderate-income households in rural areas. Regulation promulgates the policies and procedures for making loans and grants for rural housing at affordable rates.

Short Statement:
On April 2, 2020, the Agency submitted a non-substantive change request to include a streamlined workout agreement forms titled âCOVID-19 Relief Workout Agreement,â that allows Multifamily borrowers to request forbearance if they are experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. An approval was obtained on February 1, 2021, resulting in an increase of 2,257,060 responses, and 1,115,236 number of burden hours added to the collection. However, the allotted timeframe for accepting new submissions of the COVID-19 relief forms under the CARES Act has expired, and the streamlined workout agreement form forms are therefore being removed from the collection. Removal of the streamlined agreement forms, as well as removal of forms approved under other OMB numbers that was previously counted as part of the burden, has resulted in an adjustment of 2,236,011responses; and 1,072,242 number of burden hours.
