In order to administer
interoperability channels, the Commission requires state-level
approval of license applications. The Commission also requires
regional planning committee concurrence for narrowband general use
channels and certain low power channels. The Commission requires
State licensees to certify that they are providing or prepared to
provide substantial service within certain deadlines as a condition
of their license.
The information collection
requirements in Section 90.529 have been fulfilled as of June 13,
2019. Accordingly, there are program changes/decreases to this
information collection. The total number of respondents and total
annual responses decreased from 2,271 to 2,230 (-41) and the total
annual burden hours decreased from 2,312 to 2,230 (-82). There are
no program changes.
