Explanation of Non-Substantive Changes to OMB Control Number: 3060-0355:

• Instructions to FCC Form 492

• Instructions to FCC Form 492A

Purpose of this Submission: This submission is being made for proposed non-substantive changes to an existing information collection pursuant to 44 U.S.C. § 3507. This submission seeks to update (i) the accompanying instructions to FCC Form 492 and (ii) the accompanying instructions to FCC Form 492A. This is due to minor changes in the contact information for the FCC’s Office of the Secretary and Office of Economics and Analytics. The Office of the Secretary receives paper copies of filings to 9050 Junction Drive, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701. On October 15, 2020, the FCC moved its Headquarters location to 45 L Street, NE, Washington, DC 20554 which necessitates a need to update the mailing address information.

Summary of Proposed Changes to the FCC Form 492 and FCC Form 492A Instructions:

• Within Section A. of both instructions, in the second sentence, the Federal Communications Commission reference was updated from “Federal Communications Commission, Washington, D.C. 20554” to “Federal Communications Commission” since the Office of the Secretary’s copies of the filings are being sent to a MD mailing address versus a DC mailing address.

• Within Section A. of both instructions, the Office of the Secretary’s contact information was updated from “Office of the Secretary, 445 12^th Street, S.W., Room TW-A325, Washington, DC 20554” to “Federal Communications Commission, Office of the Secretary, 9050 Junction Drive, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701”.

• Within Section A. of both instructions, the “Office of Economics and Analytics, Industry Analysis Division, Attn.: Mr. Lorenzo Miller, 445 12^th Street, S.W., Room 6-A226, Washington, DC 20554” was updated to “Federal Communications Commission, Office of Economics and Analytics, Industry Analysis Division, Attn.: Mr. Lorenzo Miller, 45 L Street, NE, Room 9.339, Washington, DC 20554

• There are no changes in the burden hours and no costs are associated with this information collection.
