Survey Cover Letter to Families

Dear Family Member,

The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) at the U.S. Department of the Interior is working with your school to build a better online school system for your child. NORC at the University of Chicago is helping BIE make decisions about what that system should be and what it should do and we need your help.

We’d like to ask you a few questions to find out your, and your child’s, experience of online school has been in the past year. We’re not interested in grades or performance - we just want to know what has worked and what hasn’t with online schooling so that we can work together to create something better. We want to create a system that works for everyone, including teachers, families, and children.
