The purpose of this collection is to
obtain an authorization code for transmission of information to the
International Registry. Responding to this collection is mandatory
in order to obtain a code however, submitting the information to
the International Registry is voluntary or done as needed.
Respondents are typically financial or leasing institutions but
could be individuals or companies. The FAA Registry enters the
party name(s), collateral description(s), and the authorization
code into the Registry’s existing database system for
recordkeeping. Interested parties may access the information to
determine if an authorization code was issued. Interested parties
may request a copy of the completed AC Form 8050-135 by submitting
a written request identifying the authorization code.
