TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION:
Viburnum Trend Lead Haul Roads, Operable Unit 2 – St. Joe Minerals Corp, City of Viburnum
Superfund Site Community Survey
PURPOSE:
It is my intent to use social media as an information collection platform, whereas typical means
of communication are not feasible due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to specifically reach and
gather unique data from a community directly affected by a Superfund cleanup. Specifically, the
purpose of this information collection is to:
1. Identify the Viburnum, Missouri community desire for a public meeting regarding an
EPA fund-lead time critical removal action.
2. Define issues, questions, and concerns most important to community members.
3. Identify potential environmental justice issues and additional stakeholders.
4. Understand the community’s perception of EPA conducting a Superfund cleanup in
Viburnum, Missouri.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS:
It is assumed that the respondents will be citizens or community stakeholders from Viburnum,
Missouri.

EPA has identified through previous community interviews and observation that the
public Viburnum Trend Group on Facebook apparently serves as the main source of
information sharing for the City of Viburnum and it’s citizens. With permission from the
Facebook group owner, EPA will post a link to a SurveyMonkey form to solicit
responses from the community.

TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: Provide the name of the collection that is the

PURPOSE: Provide a brief description of the purpose of this collection and how it will be used.
If this is part of a larger study or effort, please include this in your explanation.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS: Provide a brief description of the targeted group or
