The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is finalizing an Implementation Plan in support of the USG COVID-19 Prevention and Response Framework. USAID seeks input from non-governmental and private sector partners on priority approaches for the operationalization of this Plan. Information received will be used to develop technical support materials for USAID Missions to facilitate their immediate emergency, health, and development responses to the pandemic.
Following release of the U.S. COVID-19 Global Response and Recovery Framework, USAID is finalizing a COVID-19 Implementation Plan, which will outline key agency-specific lines of effort for advancing the Framework's five objectives. The Agency must communicate clearly and consistently with its Implementing Partners (IPs) on how to prioritize the many essential elements of the Implementation Plan. Since the global response to COVID-19 requires action from many sectors and stakeholders in order to prevent further infections and second-order impacts, USAID proposes to invite IPs to participate in listening sessions to ensure USAID has the most current information in a constantly-changing environment. The information obtained in these sessions would inform how USAID implements the COVID-19 Implementation Plan through Agency-funded activities, as well as informing USAID coordination with multilateral and inter-governmental partners.
