Non-substantive Change Request
0535-0249 –Organic Survey
The Organic Survey, Information Collection Request or ICR is currently approved through November 30, 2022. In the original supporting statement, the survey was approved as a mandatory survey for the 2020 data collection (2019 reference period) since the funding for that one year was provided under the 2017 Census of Agriculture approval. In 2020 NASS would like to change this survey back to a voluntary survey, since the funding is being provided through a cooperative agreement between NASS and the USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA).
The content of the survey and the sample size will remain basically the same; only minor changes will be made to accommodate changes to the reference period and when the data is due by.
