Seafood Pandemic Response and Safety
Grant Program directs the Secretary of Agriculture to provide
“grants and loans to small or midsized food processors or
distributors, seafood processing facilities and processing vessels,
farmers markets, producers, or other organizations to respond to
coronavirus, including for measures to protect workers against the
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
AMS is requesting
emergency review and approval of a new information collection. A
burden is being imposed on eligible State agencies provide grants
to seafood processing facilities and processing vessels to respond
to coronavirus, including for measures to protect workers against
the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This program is authorized
and funded under subtitle B, Section 751 of the Consolidated
Appropriations Act of 2021 (Pub. L. No. 116-260).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
