AGENCY:

The Department of Homeland
Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) will be
submitting the following information
collection request to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) for
review and clearance in accordance
with the Paperwork Reduction Act of
1995. The purpose of this notice is to
allow an additional 30 days for public
comments.
DATES: Comments are encouraged and
will be accepted until December 9,
2021.

Written comments and/or
suggestions regarding the item(s)
contained in this notice, especially
regarding the estimated public burden
and associated response time, must be

41078, allowing for a 60-day public
comment period. USCIS did not receive
any comments in connection with the
60-day notice.

abstract: Primary: Business or other forprofit; Not-for-profit institutions. The
information collected on this form will
be used by USCIS to determine
eligibility for the requested immigration
benefits under section 203(b)(1),
203(b)(2), or 203(b)(3) of the
Immigration and Nationality Act.
(5) An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: The estimated total number of
respondents for the information
collection I–140 is 148,000 and the
estimated hour burden per response is
1.08 hour.

collection: The total estimated annual
hour burden associated with this
collection is 159,840 hours.

mineral commodities that are vital to
the Nation’s economic and national
security interests. This dependency has
the potential to create strategic
vulnerabilities arising from adverse
foreign actions, pandemics, natural
disasters, or other events that can
disrupt the supply of critical minerals.
