TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: Childhood Cancer Data Initiative Annual Symposium (NCI)


PURPOSE:


The goal of the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI) Annual Symposium is to provide an update on progress of the initiative, to hear from the childhood cancer community on recent research, and to gain input from the broad community on the activities of CCDI.  

CCDI is building a community centered around childhood cancer care and research data. Through enhanced data sharing, we can improve our understanding of cancer biology to improve preventive measures, treatment, quality of life, and survivorship, as well as ensure that researchers learn from every child with cancer.  



DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS:


The respondents are from varied groups, including patients and patient advocacy groups; researchers representing various scientific disciplines, and industry.

We have a list of participants from our 2019 symposium that we will announce registration for the 2021 symposium to. We will also use NCI communications to announce this symposium to the public through twitter, and posting on the CCDI webpage.
