Red Carpet Entry is a program
that provides a warm handoff to
medical care and wraparound
support services for people newly
diagnosed with HIV or who are
out of HIV care.

Who is eligible?
People newly diagnosed with HIV
or who are not receiving care for
their HIV.
This resource is for health care providers and staff

What do you need to know about Red Carpet Entry?
1. Any community organization or
provider’s office can refer a newly
diagnosed or out-of-care client to Red
Carpet Entry (RCE) by calling the Red
Carpet concierge.
2. The Red Carpet concierge, who is based
in a participating clinic, receives referrals
and coordinates appointments.

3. The Red Carpet concierge schedules an
appointment for clients within 72 hours
where they receive initial HIV care and
referral to wraparound services.
4. At each transition for the client, RCE staff
should provide a warm handoff to the
next care team member to ensure that
the client feels welcomed and knows
that they are a top priority.
