Abstract: The National Park Service (NPS) is requesting approval to conduct a pre-test and pilot of a national household survey designed to obtain information about U.S. residents’ potential behavioral responses to changes in the level and structure of entrance fees at national parks. The pre-test and pilot will inform the design and administration of a future survey of recent and potential park visitors that is intended to help determine revenue and access implications of different entrance fee rates and collection models.
