Since the last OMB approval, the number of manufacturer respondents has increased from 133 to 139.
Based on respondent input, the burden hours allocated for each monthly HUD-302 form response has doubled. Therefore, there is a significant net increase in the calculated burden.
Based on contractor IBTSâs recommendation, Form HUD-203B also has been revised to include a field for âExplanation of Damage /Repair.â
Based on privacy office consultations, to fully comply with current privacy safeguard requirements referenced in the current Privacy Impact Assessment, the headers of all forms associated with this information collection have been revised to clarify:
- the voluntary collection of PII (acknowledged in the OMB 83-I), and
- the assurance of confidentiality stated in the enabling legislation.
Furthermore, a privacy notice has been added to the header on forms HUD-302 and HUD-304 that both request homeowner names and addresses.
