Cropland Cash Rent
Cash rent expense for all cropland in Idaho is estimated at $160 per acre for 2017, down $8.00 per acre from last year.
Irrigated cropland is estimated at $215 per acre, down $10.00 per acre from 2016. Non-irrigated cropland rental expense is
$58.00 per acre, down $3.00 per acre from last year. Oregon producers paid $152 per acre for all cropland, up $15.00 per
acre from 2016. Irrigated cropland is estimated at $205 per acre, up $5.00 per acre from 2016. Non-irrigated cropland
rental expense is $90.00 per acre, up $10.00 per acre from last year. In Washington, all cropland rental expense is $198
per acre for 2017, up $3.00 per acre from the previous year. Irrigated cropland is estimated at $350 per acre, up $5.00 per
acre from 2016. Non-irrigated cropland rental expense is $73.00 per acre, up $1.00 per acre from last year.
Pasture Cash Rent
Pasture cash rent expense was $12.00 per acre in Idaho for 2017, down $1.00 per acre from 2016. In Oregon, pasture cash
rent was $11.00 per acre, down $1.00 per acre from the previous year. Washington producers paid $8.00 per acre for
pasture rent, down $1.00 per acre from last year.
