Abstract: The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) is requesting a substantive change to a currently approved information collection, Field Crops Production. This revision adds two questions to the January and June Sugarcane Inquiry questionnaires, to more accurately capture sugarcane production changes. NASS is also requesting to use text message and email reminders for respondents who have opted to receive these messages, which results in an increase in 483 burden hours. There are no other changes to the survey methodology or procedures previously approved.
