The Vehicle Inventory and Use Survey (VIUS) is the only compre- hensive source of information on the physical and operational characteristics of the Nation's truck population. These data are used by government, business, academia, and the general public to measure truck usage. Respondents of this survey will consist of registered truck owners and lessees.
