The Department of Labor (DOL) seeks to
enable individuals who are interested in increasing their skills to
obtain industry-recognized credentials, while receiving
Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits to have the opportunity to
engage in job training. To support these jobseekers, DOL is
encouraging States UI agencies and American Job Centers (AJCs) as
third party disseminators to work together to notify unemployed
individuals of their potential eligibility for Pell
Grants.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
