Who must report

• RIN generating advanced fuel producers and importers using grain sorghum as a feedstock have additional reporting requirements pursuant to 40 CFR §80.1451(b)(1)(ii)(S).

  • As per 40 CFR §80.1451(b)(1)(ii)(S), RIN generating producers and importers of advanced biofuel using grain sorghum as a feedstock shall report information on the total electricity that is purchased from the grid and used at the site, based on metering, in kWh.

  • As per 40 CFR §80.1451(b)(1)(ii)(S), RIN generating producers and importers of advanced biofuel using grain sorghum as a feedstock shall report total amount of ethanol produced.

  • As per 40 CFR §80.1451(b)(1)(ii)(S), RIN generating producers and importers of advanced biofuel using grain sorghum as a feedstock shall calculate the amount of grid electricity used at the site per gallon of ethanol produced in each batch.

  • As per 40 CFR §80.1452(b), RIN generating producers and importers of advanced biofuel using grain sorghum as a feedstock shall report each batch number.

  • As per 40 CFR §80.1454(k)(2)(D), RIN generating producers and importers of advanced biofuel using grain sorghum as a feedstock shall Reference ID for required documents.

• Complete this report representing all [required elements] calculated as a single entry for the compliance [period].
