ESTABLISHING MILITARY SERVICE CREDITS
You have months of railroad service according to Railroad Retirement Board records.
However, you have indicated that you had military service, which would bring your total creditable
service to 120 or more months, and qualify you for additional benefits.
To claim your military service, you must complete the enclosed Form UI-44, Claim for Credit for
Military Service, and return it with a copy of your military discharge certificate. If you need
assistance, take the form and your military discharge certificate to your local Railroad Retirement
Board office.
